Derwent Sponsorship: First Package

If you follow my twitter or instagram you probably already know that I'm being sponsored by Derwent, an art supplies company. It'll only go on for a year,  and for the year they'll send me a package every month with a different product. I thought I'd share what they've been sending me, a short review on the product and what I drew with it.

This first month they sent me a tin of 24 color soft pencils.  I really liked these pencils because they were kind of a mix between pastels and colored pencils.  So the texture is really nice, but they're not ideal for fine details.  They're definitely a good idea if you've been wanting to try pastels but don't want to deal with the messiness. Overall, this is a great product and I'm glad I got to use it. Here are a few pictures of a couple drawings done with the color soft pencils...
